About

I’m a Consultant with RBA Consulting. I spend my time architecting data warehouses, creating fancy ETL processes and building OLAP cubes that I hope have some business value when it’s all said and done. I got my start in the data world as a SQL Server DBA so I’ve also got a fair amount of experience with traditional database administration in SQL Server environments.

My lastest fascination is with distributed database technologies like HBase and HIVE and the Hadoop distributed file system.

I’m also a videogamer, golfer, all-around geek and most importantly a husband and father.
